Has anyone from Australia travelled with a 13mth old to Phuket Thailand? Any good tips? Food & snack ideas? What were the condition of the baby cots like?

I will be in Phuket throughout the first week of october of this year (2011). The weather cast says it might rain, does anyone have any suggestions on weather during october in Thailand, Phuket

I live in Bangkok. The weather down south is wet. You can expect it to rain for a few hours everyday.
Mostly cloudy the rest of the time.
